Some people know, some don't ... I was once a full time award winning legal and financial and communications advisor in downtown Toronto at Bay and King and with connections to Wall Street and other major financial-legal sectors in London, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Moscow, Mexico City, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Beirut ... As you can see, I channel my energies somewhat differently now, on a full time basis, with a major focus on my music, my films, my writings, my books, and, of course, my heartfelt and deep interests in human rights and humanitarian laws (the Human Rights Initiative) (which may also mean I make it a point of regulating the nasty individuals in some of these financial and political capitals so they don't destroy our environment, our constitutional ambitions and values, and, our economy - I'm always ready to direct or advise on the right case where justice demands it which is why I'm spearheading the Human Rights Initiative and why I formed Tannis & Associates, which has me include as associates on various files the best expert practitioners for a given mandate like HRI).  Angelina Jolie works as Ambassador for U.N. matters and Mike Douglas has similarly done so; I've chosen to serve as Chief Ambassador for BeaconWatch International (BWI) which, in part, oversees, attempts to influence and regulate U.N. affairs.

Our generation - the younger gang guiding the 21st century have reasonable demands for reasonableness, fairness, harmony, civilisation and peace.  We know that peace is possible and that old ways of dealing with things and power must give way to less bad stratification and more sensible harmony, regard, kindness and respect.  This doesn't mean that all the old or older is bad; it simply means we sense how to build a better world, envision good progress and won't be easily pushed around when good instincts suggest we shouldn't let it happen - when being more human and humane is the best way, the best answer to our problems and directions.  WINSTON GEORGE TANNIS, The 'Philosopher King'
