October 27 BUSH LEGACY AND U.S. PRESIDENCYAnalysts continue to review the qualities of the Bush legacy in
office especially now that his second term is ending. My opinion
on this matter and the current stand off to replace him remains
as is and at once somewhat outstanding. Certainly George Bush
Jr. is recognized for radically increasing the deficit and debt of
the U.S., showing signs of insensitivity to persons suffering from
natural disasters, placing U.S. global stature at great risk because
of risky world interventions in Iraq based on questionable information
and in turn - questionable legal authority and alliances, placing too
many American lives at risk with others due to an insufficient regard
for due process, the laws of war and occupation and the protection of
the innocent, and, mismanaging the economy and the regulation of
financial institutions including lending practices and unique corporate
governance considerations. Also, Bush and Rumsfeld have mismanaged
the President's Office and placed at risk NORAD or the good management
of North American airspace and the civil rights complex that properly
attaches to it. These are weighty issues and the extent of the harms
shall be under examination for some time. There were and are a
number of ways to handle global networks of terror, and, the oppression
and violence levied against women and other vulnerable persons in many
parts of the world. Each life must be assessed as dignified at law including
a soldier's life and such as the thousands of soldiers who have been killed
in Iraq and Afghanistan.

RECENT PRESS RELEASE - ALL IS FINEA Press Release was recently issued by BWI to announce
the release of Tennis Turbulence - another passage, and,
also, to provide comfort that all is well in light of certain
attempts to tarnish or reduce my reputaton and character.
The Press Release included a quote by me saying that these
incidence of certain celebrity are not uncommon, yet I publicly
commented to ensure concerned persons from around the
world that all the negative stuff is simply insignificant, trashy
and not deserving of any substantive weight. My character
and commitment to the beautiful and virtuous norms of living
this life and conducting our affairs remain solid, empathetic
and committed to good justice. When one is strongly committed
to truth, beauty, equality and justice, one is sometimes presented
with the great beauty of the souls and minds - yet also confronted
by those who would attack and attempt to scar because their
hands are dirty and therefore they are vulnerable and become
desparate to quash movements and thoughts which may and
will reveal the extent of their wrongs, their misdeeds and their
corruption.
WINSTON GEORGE TANNIS October 16 WIKIPEDIA AS 'HOAX' AND 'VANDALS', AND WATCH GROUP ACKNOWLEDGEDIn my ongoing work at BWI I discovered another watch group of
interest known as Wikipedia Watch. This encyclopedia maker has
abused the public and some members discussed within it, therefore
this group has been created to oversee its work. I will be reviewing
its watch work as Chair of Beacon Watch International (BWI) over the
next few months. At this time, I would like to acknowledge the good
works of Democracy Watch. As well, I should mention that I discovered
Wikipedia Watch while investigating some of their perverse actions in
connection with my name and profile. They have at once included me
in a number of their notable lists of persons, and then suggested that another
submission constituted an act of vandalism; I have reviewed the piece
submitted - setting out a number of my notable accomplishments - and
remain bewildered. The only conclusion available is that the editors
handling this particular submission are incompetent at fact checking.
The only error in the piece was a media mention of me as a "legal
wunderkind" in Law Times when such declaration was made in Lawyer's
Weekly which is a more reputable substantive publication. Sadly, they
have vandalized my name in allowing this inadequate group of editors
to make public their thoughts - certainly not findings of any credible kind,
which constitutes evidence of weak and sloppy intellectual work. They got
it right when they included me in four of their notable persons lists but
obviously do not have the talent to be consistent with the other submission,
as discussed above. Their language is perverse and attracts senses that
someone there is involved in foul play. I will try to help them comprehend
the field of the law sciences and activism, as defined by me in this century,
so that they might correct this significant error. As well, I will have to consider
a defamation suit since a number of prospective Beacon Letters advertisers
alerted me to this negative posting yet the damage to BWI could be more
widespread. As a result, millions of dollars in revenue for BWI's good humanitarian
works might have been significantly jeopardhized by their childish, inconsistent,
reckless and possibly malevolent error.
... I am in the midst of a review of Wikipedia Watch and Wikipedia - its public
documents, practices, media disclosures have come under my direct and close
scrutiny, not only for the benefit of my own case but for the students and
clients of The Beacon Institute For Advanced Studies (BIAS) over which I
preside as Founding President and Distinguished Professor of Law, Politics
and Metaphysics.

WINSTON GEORGE GOVERNANCE ADVISORY AND FOUNDATION (Global) October 11 LAW SOCIETY OF UPPER CANADA AS DISREPUTABLEI will soon release a piece on the disreputable practices of The
Law Society of Upper Canada, as currently evidenced and as
understood for some time by members of the Bar. I have long
objected to certain of their loose Benchers and administrators
yet certain recently discovered practices are simply unconscionable
and terribly bad for the public. At issue is not only gross incompetence
but malevolent and grossly mischiefous practices carried out by a
group of the regulator's personnel and governors in ways that
unconscionably violate contemporary terms of Law Society
governance. As well, willing members of the Bar and others
have become willing and somewhat unsuspecting agents and
tools or instruments of the wrongs being perpetrated.
I will release this piece under all my authority as world
leading jurisprudential mind and as one of the most distinguished
members of the Bar and servants of the Bench of Justice.
It will not be a happy outcome for less than bright 'good 'ol boys
and gals' - it will be a sad and tragically predictable day of
judgment for this lot. With power comes responsiblity and,
responsibility demands exceptional judgment and diligence.

Chair & Counsel, BWI FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AND SECURITIES REGULATIONMany of you know that I have published a number of leading texts in the
area of economic regulation - this is part of my Queen's Annual Business
Law Symposium Series (1994-1996, Carswell). As anticipated, these texts have
remained and have become remarkably relevant as the nations and peoples
of the world adjust to the banking crisis in the United States. My third text
in this series focuses upon the regulation of financial institutions like banks
and trust companies. Readers should note that I established the topics
and selected the contributors for this book and event based on a review
of Canadian and American circumstances as revealed in government
documents and other sources. Therefore, much like the first edition focused
upon the regulation of public markets for stocks and bonds, I was the final
authority and arbiter as to which issues would be addressed and by whom
and set my historic standard of diligence. Both these texts are currently
very relevant, as is the 1995 edition which illucidates how corporate
restructurings and insolvencies must be conducted with fairness principles
serving a paramount function - in this text I also prepared a nice piece
on functionalism in corporate governance (one which I co-authored with
Stanley Hartt of Reichmann International fame, and one which reflects
the remark I made in editing Senator Trevor Eyton's piece that, the
sociological circumstances of governance must be taken into account).
This note is made to all my readers and afficionados including members of
the financial and economic and diplomatic communities struggling
to comprehend the issues and solutions and systems, at play and at work.
Sound regulatory apparatuses are necessary to protect and encourage
efficient and effective growth and progress in any socio-political-economic
society driven by innovation and justice.
WINSTON GEORGE TANNIS DION AND LIBERALS UNFIT TO GOVERN - CONSTITUTIONAL PROBLEMS LIKE HARPERIn order to clarify the record, in part revealed in this month's blog entries
including Favourite NewsBites for October 2008 .. : I am not able to support,
in good conscience or good faith, either the Harper government and the
Conservative Party or the Dion candidacy and the Liberal Party of Canada.
This is based on my positions as a constitutionalist and inquiries conducted
by me during the last few months and years. These individuals and parties
are unable and unwilling to cure certain constitutional problems which
have arisen due to bias, gross self interest and subject records which make
them unfit to govern and wield the powers of the Prime Minister's Office
and the Federal Cabinet. This is a disconcerting circumstance yet it is
very real and each and every stakeholder in the Canadian government and
constitutional system must assume a sound position. This includes voters
who must exercise their votes to protect and preserve the Constitution
which includes vital and longstanding guaranteed rights of conscience and
expression and over the sovereign body of each person. These are elements
of the dignity promise of the social contract of Canada, and each person
with an interest in this legacy and these important norms must see their
weightiness and correct the errors of politicians Dion and Harper and their
parties - the Conservatives and the Liberals. Once again, I do not support
S. Dion or the Liberal Party of Canada, despite and in light of past associations
of different kinds. This matches my assertion that Harper is a 'constitutional con' -
unable to lead a country bound by historic and present constitutional values
which preserve each individual and the important public institutions which
serve this function. Harper and the Governor General should be removed
from their Offices.

times - RESPECTED INTERNATIONAL JURIST AND ARTIST

Federal Election by stating: "I cannot, in good faith, support
the Harper government or the Liberal Party of Canada, despite
past associations of different kinds, since they have unequivocally
failed 'peace, order and good governance tests' duly and conservatively
set and administered by me, and the record of history shall not lie.
The proper interpretation of Machiavelli is that the Prince, or those
in public power, must adopt means that are humanistally sound and
sustainable over the short and long term. This matches current
constitutional tests to determine whether public powers like govern-
ments and all constitutional pillars and administrators have duly left
unharmed and unrestrained fundamental guarantees upon freedom
such as association and conscience. As you know, I speak as super
expert and as someone currently prosecuting the Law Society of
Upper Canada and Canadian Bar Association for conduct unbecoming
and otherwise in violation of a number of legal norms. This is mentioned
to make clear the scope of my expertise and status as leading member
of the international bar and scientific community. Therefore, it is not
merely governments, courts, professionals and scientists who come
under my review as member of the international Who's Who, but also
regulatory bodies properly characterized as branches of the leviathan
of state, and, poorly administered scientific and quasi-scientific bodies
such as encyclopedia makers with awesome powers to defame yet to
be contained by the law of defamation and other legal avenues of
redress. Harper should not be re-elected and the Chief Justice of the
Supreme Court should be forced to resign as part of a constitutional
restoration effort with positive economic and fiscal consequences in
the short and long term. Liberal Leader Dion is unable and unwilling
to restore matters and cannot be relied upon." - LAW SOCIETY OF
UPPER CANADA AND CANADIAN BAR ASSOCIATION come under
increased review by BWI and Chairman Tannis due to odd, reckless
and disconcerting conduct for justice institutions including misinforming
and negligently misdirecting members of the public and the Bars of
Ontario and elsewhere - 'WIKIPEDIA WATCH' NOTED BY BWI and
is currently being reviewed to determine its mandate based on gross
errors and abusive practices of this online provider of encyclopedic
information: "I sadly discovered this group when a potential Advertising
Patron for The Beacon Letters told me that Wikipedia suggested my work
and legacy constituted a 'hoax' based on a soundly prepared submission
for entry which I have reviewed and find remarkably accurate except for
the slight error that I was named a "law wunderkind" by Lawyer's Weekly
and not Law Times which is actually a compliment since the former
publication is more respected for its substance than the latter.
Well I reviewed the matter and noted, among other things or matters,
that a number of their poorly trained editors had actually used such
language yet had included me in a number of their notable persons
lists. This did not make any sense. Sadly, their conduct suggests
gross mischief, possibly due to political and commercial alliances,
and I will have to consider suing them for gross and perverse
defamation. My positions on certain corrupt governments and
corporations and individuals remain sound." - HARPER, DION,

PUBLIC with recent federal election fiasco costing Canada millions
of dollars while claims against Canada mount for criminal and civil
wrongs with no mention of such economically devastating eventuality -

HEADS OF STATE to resolve NORAD airspace crisis and associated
human rights and criminal law crisis: "The present front line political
leaders of Canada have essentially admitted defeat - the 'true north
tall and free' statement by Harper last night crystallizes the sentencing
consequence that is inevitable in light of necessary embargoes and other
remedies to establish the necessary sentencing deterrents. It is a sad
reflection on the perversion of a constitutional record by a political and
commercial leadership that has dragged its citizens down with them.
This makes the public function of the litigation outputs even more
critical in keeping with a sound prosecution of the 'chain of command'
so to speak and literally. Noble and prudent members of the Canadian
and other states are encouraged to join me, BWI in the corrective measures
course that I have designed to cure the gross ailment and to pave a
better course for this century and beyond. This is a case to not only
address the sorrow inflicted but to minimize sorrow, in keeping with the
UN Charter, during this lifetime and others. All interested persons should
