    On The New Year, Friendship and Things To Come

    I. Happy New Year on a Gregorian and Julian Scale;

    II. I will probably enjoy, I enjoyed some moments of thought, companionship,

    with friends in mind and elsewhere, and the beauty and fun of dance, before me,

    within me, around me;

    III. I have also released a piece or short essay-judgment today titled "Canada's Shame

    - Degradation and Violence ..." as Chief Justice of The Beacon Court / Le Tribunal du Balise,

    directed to the world community, making clear the need to quickly address the wrongful

    degradation and battery of women - Spaces' Friends and others may request a copy of this

    piece at beaconwatchintl@yahoo.com or winstontannis@hotmail.com, or by calling BWI's

    current headquarters, Office of The Chair, (613)233-9745. There is no charge yet donations

    or contributions will be accepted;

    IV. Also, to celebrate and enter the New Year, I have circulated

    a piece and poem which also hilights the accomplishments of a former Chief Justice named Julius

    Isaac - I would encourage all of you, no matter what you do or where you live in the world,

    to drop him a simple note of thanks via The Federal Court of Appeal of Canada at the Supreme

    Court of Canada Building, Ottawa, Canada K1A 0H9 to express kind recognition for all his work

    to protect and preserve us all from human rights abuses (of the kind that I am currently prosecuting)

    and to ensure that we are treated with dignity and respect for good laws;

    V. My continuing commitment to good fashion and the beautiful remains into 2008 with

    a statement of adoration and respect for Jeanne Beker;

    VI. Finally, I am honoured and happy that so many Spaces' Friends have so much to offer in the

    form of merely being, sharing parts of your and their lives, expressing yourselves to build the greatest

    institution of all; that is, the institution of companionship, friendship, goodwill, acquaintance, humanity ...

    even across great oceans and terrains and some of the mischiefous forces which inhibit people from properly

    knowing, seeing, affecting, enjoying, regarding one another. We are building a great capacity for continued

    peace, harmony and security simply by doing what we do online - having some fun communicating, living,

    learning and even loving.

    Truly with Best Wishes, Sir WINSTON GEORGE TANNIS, Esquire

    THE VALUES AND PRINCIPLES THAT ...

    What are the values, policies and principles that bind, guide and direct BeaconWatch International (BWI).

    There are many and so the dialogue and Charter is expressed as follows:

    1.  SOVEREIGN DIGNITY

    Men and women are possessed by a sovereign dignity that must be regarded, protected, cherished
    and illuminated in day-to-day actions, decisions, and well designed laws, policies and conventions.

    2.  ENLIGHTENED DISPOSITION

    Members of this Sovereigndom, this time in space and on this Earth, should continually strive to
    achieve an enlightened disposition towards the self and all others whom one confronts, addresses,
    engages and, or otherwise encounters, and on terms which are satisfying and just to the self.

    3.  FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS

    There are certain properly arrived at and determined rights and obligations that should guide the
    affairs of men and women, girls and boys, to protect, preserve and enhance the self and the
    compassionate community of interests.

    4.  THE ETHICS OF FRIENDSHIP AND NEIGHBOURHOOD

    An ethic of friendship and one of neighbourhood should serve as paramount considerations in
    the conduct of persons seeking to lead a moral, ethical and legally just existence amidst the
    various events, happenings, conflicts and other episodes that mark a life in evolution and in constant
    creation.

    5.  THE NOUVEAU INTERNATIONALISM
    The Nouveau Internationalism involves individuals in a new sense of both local and global
    citizenship with a strong and intelligent commitment to peace, a heavy and serious reluctance
    to employ aggressive actions, or to be unnecessarily aggressive, a dedication to cultivating
    bonds with people to maintain a harmony in the face of differences, a knowledge that each of
    us have a significant and substantial role to play in making this life and those beyond as ideal
    as can be achieved - to build and continue to build and maintain a Good Kingdom, a Good
    Republic on this Earth, and, a strength of will and effort to lead, to bring perpetrators of
    wrongs to justice, or, and to see that this is done or accomplished with great skill and
    sophistication.

    My Tennis Career

    Another truth ... yes, I was a tennis pro at an international resort, working and exhibitioning with other pros from every continent of the globe. It was a great time and I still love sports, the outdoors, the water (like a lake, river, or ocean). I'm not involved as a full time 'pro' any longer, but I still exhibition and coach, from time to time, and recently helped a university team get ready and competitive. I also write about the sport through my publication The Beacon Letters / Les Lettres du Balise and its audience of ambassadors, artists, scientists, ... my tips on tennis are significantly respected because of my senses of athleticism as well as pedagogy, tennis finesse and technique. Another fashion oriented person who enjoyed sport is Elle M. who played volleyball - a sport which I also use to play competitively a little while ago as a lettered athlete (now it's all over the beaches and I love it, love to see people enjoying the vigour and 'team play' which volleyball is all about). I still encourage people into fitness and tennis through my lifestyle and exhibitions, and my foundation - the WINSTON GEORGE FOUNDATION (Global). I might include a chapter in my upcoming biography on 'my life in sport'. As well, I'm preparing to release a book and maybe a video / DVD on my fitness, health and nutrition tips and techniques (maybe as part of 'The Will to Win' Series which I created a little while ago). Think of picking up a racket some time to enjoy the spirit of the sport ... WINSTON GEORGE TANNIS

    On God as Power

    If God wished to clearly give us all the
    answers - moral and scientific, ... he would have
    done so.  Instead there are many avenues of
    approximation to the Good, God, the paths exist ...

    Continuing Paths

    We can continue on a path of even greater happiness, love, intelligence, joy
    and prudence when we allow the colours of life, balance and deep
    compassion to visit, direct and partake in the enrichment of our
    lives; in turn, we find greater health and vitality, a greater love of the
    mystical connected self, and greater capacities to maybe rightly forgive and
    accommodate those who violate our senses of the Good, the Just, maybe
    as influenced by God and the loyalists of the Good as challenged by the
    possibilities of Evil or the cruel, the corrupt, the mean spirited, the clinically
    viscious and ill proportioned, ...

    Remaining, Being Cool

    Stay, remain and flow with the cool as an ultimate state
    of mind (and like the planes of winter whites and ocean blues).
    Make it your overriding rhythm and bounce through
    which all else fits ... your hair, your sunglasses, your thoughts,
    your eyes, your hats and scarves and clothes ... your states
    of mind and dance ... as you suck in the world, live with
    it and lay your impression into it with great flow, color,
    cool and gift.

    Beautiful Hearts

    I was thinking about the beauty of our hearts, a little more with a new wave. It may not be easy to paint and preserve this picture, always moving as it is, but it is worth the time and timeless efforts as we seek the better parts of ourselves.
