I have been forced, by force of certain facts, to strongly

criticize Harper of Canada, in the past, due to his incompetence

in managing Canada's affairs.  His recent activities in New York

and the U.S. more generally only compound such concerns about

his 'strong man, weak skills' status.  Harper's recent actions

implicate Canada in many of the worst forms of diplomacy in

a way that further 'digs a grave' for Canada in the books of

history.  He is obviously incompetent to address certain foreign

affairs issues, because of initial poor comprehension and a

 basic incapacity to become prepared on complex socio-legal-

economic files of international significance.   I will soon release

another article on the Palestinian-Israeli-Lebanese conflict, and

Canada and Harper shall have a distinct opportunity to 'walk

their talk' in a way that may cure the problems of Europe and

the Anglo-Canadian-American Empire, in a secure and substantive

way that builds on Canada's expertise in handling land claims

within Canada and intervening to provide land to make the world

more harmonious.  Of note will be the recent baby booms in

Alberta and Saskatchewan, and the roles of the Provinces of

Manitoba and Ontario in making gracious offerings in addressing

both domestic history and the history of Europe with a

view to the future.

 interesting yet sad yet hopeful times, as we try to curl

back the corrupt curtain of our own continent for those

who have sacrificed and lived for it and through it.  Ours

cannot be the way of excess pragmatism but dignified

and restrained pragmatism, of a kind that true politicians

should aspire to.  Perhaps it is the legacy of Kennedy that

he tried, in some measure, to meet such ideals.  When one

is bound, one is restrained and these are the dirty deeds

of government so long as our literatures are not properly

preserved and read.  Towards a greater 'perfection' we

strive as a continent, as a world of states and non state

agents.
